We recently went to a job where an underground plumbing fitting had split and tree roots had grown towards the source of the leak and into the fitting.
This caused the underground pipes to break resulting in an underground water leak.
To fix the problem we dug down and found the damaged pipes, made the repair and tested to check the repair and then backfilled the hole.
