Have you just received your water bill and it is higher than usual?
The first step is to check that you don't have a water leak.
The best way to do this yourself is to:
- ensure all taps are turned off including toilet taps.
- do a meter read just before you go to bed.
- do another meter read when you first get up in the morning.
- turn all your taps back on.
If the meter increased overnight then you have a water leak somewhere!
